The Intelligence Economy – where artificial intelligence becomes the layer through which economic value is created, governed, and compounded – is being constructed at speed by the United States, China, and Europe. Africa enters this transition generating a significant share of the raw material: behavioural data from 1.4B+ people, more than 2,000 living languages, and the world’s largest informal economic system. It owns limited infrastructure through which that material is transformed into intelligence.
